Finally off the dock and on my way north for the 2026 Summer. Hoping to get further north the inside of Vancouver Island this year.
First stop is Blind Bay, Shaw Island, in the San Juans. After 12 hour day of motoring, motor-sailing, and trying to sail I arrived to nice conditions and a bay with few boats. Looks like more rain and wind on the way so I think I will hold here a couple days for the front to pass before moving north again. Maybe I'll stop in at Stuart Island or go directly on to Pender Harbor, Canada. It all depends on the weather. Life now revolves around the different things.
