Echo Bay and a bit of work

Mixing business with pleasure is normal for my summer trips. In order for me to be gone for up to three months I need to be able connect professionally. Having installed a Starlink dish some time ago I am able to work from anywhere but I need to be at anchor or at a dock. Looking at the chart and Waggoner's I decided to head up to Echo Bay Marina for a stay dockside and facilitate my ability to connect, join some meetings, and get a bit of work done.

Echo Bay Marina is in the process of being rehabilitated after having been purchased a few years ago. The atmosphere is laid back and friendly but still a work in progress. The location is remote and it is rustic. The edges are still a bit rough but the staff do their best to meet all reasonable requests. This is a place to rest and relax on your boat, mingle on the dock, do a bit of laundry and stretch your legs.

I appreciated the metal rails in place of the typical wooden ones you find in many places in BC. The docks have power posts but you may need to work with the staff to organize a connection as the number of connections are limited and splitters or extensions may be needed.
